The only ways to run multiple displays from a single output on a Mac are with Thunderbolt daisy chaining, which requires actual Thunderbolt displays that you don't have, or an actual Thunderbolt dock, which can tap into two independent GPU interfaces and therefore can allocate one interface to each display - although even there a Thunderbolt dock on a Mac is limited to two displays, whereas a PC could run 3-4 displays from that dock. Ironically if you install Boot Camp on a Mac to run Windows on it, then daisy chaining works in Windows, so it's not a hardware limitation. This has been the subject of complaints for years on Apple forums, here, Reddit, and elsewhere. ![]() Smith The problem is that macOS does not support DisplayPort MST, which is required for daisy chaining. ![]()
